Archival pigment print on Photo Rag, each 30 x 40 cm

As a child, my parents and I would sometimes drive to Alto Adige in northern Italy for summer holiday. During these drives, I sat in the backseat and my favorite pastime was to list the cars that drove by, like the brand, the model, and the cities on the license plates. 37 years later, I found one of my old notebooks, a planner from 1975 with my list of cars. I researched and found dated, heterogeneous images of the cars that were on my list, and edited them so that they looked like they were shot in the same photo studio. I made an artist book and a series of photographs from this material and from the pages of my old planner.
