Women On Plastic
2007
Series of drawings, ink on transparent PVC, each 140x100cm

Women On Plastic was a site-specific installation for the exhibition “Témoins de l'absence” at Centre d'art Passerelle in Brest in 2007.
It is a series of large drawings with ink on transparent pvc hung on a wall, depicting portraits of women from magazines and newspapers. Both unknown and famous faces of women from fashion, politics, culture, publicity, and sports were portrayed with simple, black lines.

The exhibition “Témoins de l'absence” showed 3 artists/3 positions that related to the media “drawing”.
